Carnation Care Tips

1. Trim the Stems

✂️ Upon arrival, trim about ½ inch off the stems at a 45° angle to help them drink water better.

2. Fresh Water Matters

💧 Place them in clean, room-temperature water — and change the water every 2 to 3 days to keep them happy.

3. Remove Lower Leaves

🍃 Strip off any leaves that fall below the water line to prevent bacteria growth (this helps them live longer!).

❄️ Carnations love a cool environment. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight, near heaters, or in a draft.

🌼 Add flower food to the water if you have it — it gives carnations a little extra nourishment for longer bloom times.
